Apocalyptic Conditions Postpone Hawkes' Zombie Run

The zombie apocalypse hit Hawkes hard this week and, although we hoped to be able to hold the Zombie Run and Halloween Open House around the current destruction, we realize that this environment risks the ultimate safety of the humans that planned to attend. We will monitor these conditions and report back when the contamination is at acceptable levels. In other words, we are postponing this event for safety reasons.

Hawkes Halloween Zombie Run and Haunted Open House

Hawkes is going Haunted for Halloween and kicking off the evening with a Family-Friendly, half-mile Zombie Run!!! A costume contest with $100 in cash prizes, refreshments, games, and spooky stories make this an event you won't want to miss!!! Just $10 for runners and that includes a free t-shirt!

Haunted Hawkes Halloween takes place on October 15th from 5pm to 8pm!

Schedule of Events:
5:00pm Zombie Run Registration
5:30pm Half-Mile Family-Friendly Zombie Run, starting at Hawkes Library with Zombies provided by LSPA’s Lafayette Theatre Academy
6:00pm Haunted Hawkes Open House, with Spooky Stories, Refreshments, and Games
7:00pm Costume Contest with $100 in cash prizes, sponsored by the West Point Woman’s Club

Free for spectators and just $10 for Runners, includes Free t-shirt (as long as supplies last)
You can pre-register to ensure you leave with a t-shirt!  

Haunted Open House is open to the public at no charge.
