We would like to invite you all to join us for this weekend's special events...
The Sidewalk Art Festival will be from 2-4 ET this Saturday (22nd). Hooked on Art is providing activities for the children, an indoor booksale/swap is available for the adults and baked goods can be purchased for everyone.
The Garden Symposium will be held from 2-4 ET on Sunday (23rd) Guest Speakers include Sharon Cowart of Shady Gardens Nursery &
Jenny Jackson of Jenny Jack Farm. There will be displays and refreshments to enjoy, as well as a book sale and door prizes.

Junior Friends Christmas Party
Junior Friends is a book club for young children who patron Hawkes Library. Led by Nanci Hendrix, the members meet once a month to share their reading experiences, participate in crafts, and play games. This December's meeting centered around celebrating the holidays and decorating the library's tree for Christmas. Each of the young members added their handmade ornaments and enjoyed treats prepared especially for their party.
